What every agent brings to a call

Built for real conversations, not phone trees

Natural conversation

Callers can interrupt mid-sentence (barge-in); the agent stops, listens, and adapts. DTMF keypad input and hold handling included. Callers hear ringback — never dead air — while a transfer connects.

Knowledge answers

Responses grounded in documents you upload while following your rules and instructions. Technical sales, IT support, business hours, policies, products, recruiting, and more.

Caller verification

PIN-based identity checks before disclosing or acting on sensitive information.

Business integrations

Queries to your internal HTTP services and external tools via the open MCP standard, under an explicit per-agent access policy.

Run it from one screen

A web admin console ships with the appliance

Live dashboard, call replay with transcripts and full-call audio recording, agent and telephony configuration, and a complete audit log. Administration requires login; every call is traceable end-to-end. Recordings stay on the appliance, under a retention policy you set.

Set it up by asking

Conecto includes an AI Assist copilot — a built-in admin assistant that helps your operator author and tune agents, edit prompts, review the knowledge base, and answer "how does this work / what is my system doing" questions, all in plain language. It uses the same controls a human admin would, so every change is previewed, confirmed, audited, and reversible. Off by default, admin-only, and it runs on your own AI key — no new always-on cost.

Privacy in one sentence

The only data that leaves your network is the audio leg to the AI voice provider you choose; the conversations, transcripts, documents and company data your AI agents handle stay on your own host, in your own database, under your control.

How it works

Owned, field-proven, and running in days

01

Connect your phone system

Plug into your existing SIP trunks and PBX. Validated against hosted SIP carriers and 3CX. Keep your numbers, your provider, and your desk phones — no rip-and-replace.

02

Configure your AI team

Use plain language to set up each agent's role, knowledge base, and rules. The built-in AI Assist copilot guides every step — every change previewed, confirmed, audited, and reversible.

03

Go live 24/7

Your AI team answers every call, routes to the right agent, and escalates to a human when needed — day, night, weekends, and holidays. Every call traceable end-to-end.

Technical appendix — for your IT team

Single-tenant. Isolated by default. No shared cloud.

Conecto is a single-tenant appliance: one customer, one box, no shared cloud control plane, no remote management backdoor. A control plane is separated from a dedicated telephony runtime owning the SIP/RTP sockets and the realtime AI bridge; a multi-agent registry routes each entry point to its agent. PostgreSQL is the system of record.

Telephony

SignallingSIP over UDP, TCP, and TLS; digest auth; multi-endpoint registration with automatic refresh and a watchdog that repairs silent failures without interrupting active calls.
MediaG.711 RTP at 8 kHz with SDES-SRTP media encryption (live-validated over TLS) and built-in packet-loss concealment for degraded networks.
EngineA proprietary, fully hardened SIP/RTP engine — purpose-built for the AI bridge, live-validated on real carrier calls, no third-party telephony licensing.
CompatibilityValidated against hosted SIP carriers (voip.ms) and 3CX PBX; transfers via SIP REFER; DTMF via RFC 2833/4733.

Multi-agent AI layer

AgentsMultiple agents per appliance, each with its own versioned prompt, voice, knowledge base, and tool-access policy; agents take direct DIDs or sit behind the receptionist — every entry point routes to the agent you assign. Knowledge-base budget and turn-limit behavior are tunable per agent.
ProvidersOpenAI Realtime, xAI (Grok), or any OpenAI-compatible realtime voice endpoint — configurable per install, no vendor lock-in. Transcription model and language are set per provider, with optional input noise reduction.
BridgeLow-latency bidirectional audio transcoding between carrier G.711 and the provider's realtime format, with barge-in, turn management, and tool-call dispatch.

Security & operations

PostureIsolated by default: no outbound dependencies except the AI-provider audio leg you explicitly configure; every network-reaching feature is opt-in.
SecretsAPI keys and SIP credentials live in an age-encrypted local secret store, rotatable from the admin console.
Access & auditForced operator login, session-based auth, and a complete audit trail — the evidence your HR and account-data use cases will be asked for.
RecordingFull-call audio recording with in-browser replay; recordings never leave the appliance and are purged on the schedule you set.
InstallSigned, versioned tarball with bundled dependencies — installs fully offline on Ubuntu Server 22.04+ via an idempotent installer; DB migrations run automatically.
ResilienceAutomated scheduled backups with restore drills, crash-restart recovery of configuration and state, and zero-downtime restart tooling.
DistributionShips as a compiled, licensed appliance — the IP-bearing logic as compiled binaries, not source — and native-only, with no third-party (GPL) telephony licensing.
